Community Partners Mentoring Scholarship
Each sponsor in the Community Partners Mentoring Scholarship program is matched with a student and becomes a mentor in helping build the student’s portfolio towards realizing his/her post-graduation aspirations. All qualifying students have demonstrated financial need.
Mentor Time Commitment
Community Partners mentors assist students in deepening their professional and educational portfolio by providing guidance in building a student’s résumé, growing a professional network, and developing interview skills. Mentors and students are strongly recommended to meet/touch base once per month during the academic year (text, email, or in person).
The information below allows the University to move forward with creating your unique Community Partners mentoring scholarship. Community Partners are strongly encouraged to commit to the program through to their recipient’s graduation—up to four years. Students must reapply to the program annually for renewal.
